Spring is in and your nails could do some colors to reflect the vibes of this season. After all, this season is also in a new decade so why not spruce it up a bit? How about animal themes that are doable even for beginners? Keep your favorite nail polish colors and get new ones with colors shown in this post. And trust me, your nails are going to look different and perk up that you can’t stop taking a glance at it.

A Basic And Easy, Yet Creative Nail Art

Create a continuous effect of your digits by painting a caterpillar across the nails, seen in (#1). Simply coat a color as a ‘canvas’ (white is a good choice as it helps you to see the colors clearly) and create a caterpillar painting with a tiny brush.

Similar technique is also seen in this puppy manicure (#11), monochrome panda sketch manicure (#12), octopus in turquoise manicure (#13), butterfly detail in (#32), bee and grass sketch manicure with matte finish as base (#14), another bee sketch drawn continuously on turquoise matte base (#23), and black kitty with paws pattern set in pink and white striped base (#15).

Particularly for the kitty manicure, you need to create the base first and let dry before sketching out the cat and the paws accordingly, before sealing the color with a layer of topcoat, the same technique with bee manicure seen in (#27), but with a matte topcoat. The same technique also applies in this color block unicorn them in (#16).

Fox Theme

I don’t know about you but I’m really digging with the fox-based theme for this year’s spring. Apart from being so easy to sketch it out, the theme also carries carefree vibes that pair well with this season (I mean, it’s a new decade after all). seen here fox-based manicures that come in an array of finishes and effect, with sketches that are so easy to do: (#25), (#26), (#27), (#29), (#30).

Stone Detail

This technique makes your nail art look like you did an expensive manicure! Seen in butterfly detail (#4) and (#19), and Stitch with stone details on acrylic matte base in (#18),

Glitter Base

Holographic base with spider web sketch (#6), glitter at the tip with ladybug pattern in (#7), and green glitter as grass detail in (#8).

Sketch Nail Art

This nail art looks dreamy and magical! Using clear polish as the base (you can use solid color if you want), draw and paint the main elements – rabbits, baskets, and flowers first – and let it dry before painting over the grass detail (#2).

Same technique is also used in this fluffy-looking rabbit in (#21), ladybug and polka dot pattern in (#22), panda sketch manicure, with continuous pattern across the nails (#12), birds of paradise on matte base in (#10), bee and hexagon detail in (#17), Christmas theme Rudolph and the lights in (#31), ombre effect with flamingo and palm tree silhouette sketch in (#5).

Tip: if your hands are not adept enough to sketch out as beautiful as you hoped for, you can always use a ready-made stencil nail art and stick onto the nail polish afterward, as seen in (#20), (#28).

Embossed Nail Art

This technique creates a 3D look of the sketch and they look different at every angle. You need to be patient though as the technique requires you to take out a chunk of color and dot it onto the nail, and waiting for them to really dry out before applying another color. You can see the detail and overall effect as seen in spider sketch (#3), bug and garden sketches in (#9), or like embossed ladybug detail in (#24).
